Noelle attends a daycare/preschool while I am at work. She absolutely loves it. Miss Amy and her husband, Nate, are amazing at what they do. Everyday after pick up, Noelle tells me what fun things they did that day. She races to the counter where her artwork for the day is sitting. On her tippy toes she stretches to reach it and shouts "I made it all you for, MOM!" "All by myself"! She is the most enthusiastic girl. I just adore her! 

This is Noelle at Miss Amy's house performing all the songs they have worked on through out the year.   It could be the hormones from recently having Everett, but I was gushing over how sweet it was.  Little kids singing... come on, that is cute, right?!

One HOT Summer

Summers in St. George can be unbearable, especially when you are 9 months pregnant!!! We got pretty creative and made as many trips to Salt Lake as we could. We survived.

 On August 1st, 2012 our little man was born. 

8 lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long.

It's been a while...

Yes, yes I know it has been almost a year since I have posted anything. My excuse list in long, but mainly it's because our external hard drive went out... yep we almost lost all of our photos. I am not very computer savvy, so I have left it up to Chris to take care of it. LESSON LEARNED! We still need to get all the photos from 2011 and 2012, so the rest of those will be added later. Until then, I vow to post a little of everything that the Ivie family is up to. Why do I feel like I am asking for an excusal on a late paper to an english teacher? Oh well... stay posted.

We spent the afternoon hiking in Zion with my parents. There is something about being outdoors that feeds the soul. I need to get up here more often.

Baby Bump

There are only a few times throughout our lives that we are lucky enough to enjoy the "journey" of pregnancy. Where in the quiet hours of the evening you can feel an elbow glide across your tummy, or the curve of the baby's back pressed against your right side. It truly is magical. Many things have happened lately that make me realize how fragile life is. I want to cherish these moments so they will become vivid memories. We are so excited to meet baby Everett (his big sister most of all). We have been so blessed having Noelle in our lives. What joy she brings us, and we can't wait to see the sweet little personality that will develop in another child. My grandpa said last week "After all is said and done, the only thing that matters is family." Amen Grandpa.

I love exploring all that Washington County has to offer. There is always so much to see. We recently followed a few signs on a dirt road that lead us to some amazing dinosaur tracks.

Easter 2012

Since I was a child, my family has put on an annual Easter Egg Hunt for family, friends, and neighbors.   What amazing memories I have of this annual festivity. I loved that Noelle was able to participate and boy she came out like a bandit. She only had 4 adults navigating her to the "good stuff".
